Medical And Para-Medical Staff Fighting Against Corona Will Get Double Salary:-

The Haryana government has made a big announcement on Thursday for doctors fighting against coronavirus. CM Manohar Lal Khattar has announced to give a double salary to all medical and para-medical staff. This salary will continue till further orders of the government. The CM took this decision at a review meeting of the Coronavirus Relief Management.

The Chief Minister was speaking to reporters in Chandigarh on Thursday after a meeting of all the state’s civil surgeons, IMA representatives, VC of Health University, Dr. Naresh Trehan, director of Medanta Medicity, health department officials. During the meeting, the Chief Minister interacted with nurses and doctors working in isolation wards in various districts.

During this, Dr. Sonia said that she has a lot of challenges during her duty. Double-double duty is being given in many places. Therefore, the government should give a package of immediate relief. After implementing this suggestion, Chief Minister Manohar Lal said after consultations with Health Minister Anil Vij and departmental officials that the salary for medical and para-medical staff doing their duties under COVID-19 will be two times. He said that this range would include doctors, nurses, paramedical category employees, four employees, and ambulance drivers, etc.


Ex-gratia Payment Also Increased:-

The government has already implemented the announcement that the doctors who are not covered by the Center will get 50 lakhs under Ex-gratia, 30 lakhs to nurses, 20 lakhs to paramedical staff and Rs 10 lakhs to be given to grade four employees.

Apart from this, accommodation is being provided in hotels of the tourism department. Two times salary will be given until the Corona campaign continues. Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij, Health Department ACS Rajeev Arora, and many officials were present in this meeting.
