HMD Global has launched its latest iconic feature phone Nokia 5310 in India. The phone costs Rs 3399. It supports dual-sim. The company claims that it gives 22 days of battery life in a single charge. The phone has an MP3 player and wireless FM radio for music lovers. Apart from this, new 5310 has dedicated music-key and dual speakers. The phone also has a rear camera sensor that comes with LED flash. This phone is an upgraded version of Nokia 5310 Express Music which was launched in August 2007.
Nokia 5310 Specifications:-
The Nokia 5310 phone supports Dual Mini SIM. It works on the Series 30 Plus operating system and has a 2.4-inch QVGA (240×320 pixels) display.The phone has a MediaTek MT6260A processor and also has 8MB RAM. The phone has 16MB of onboard storage, which is expandable upto 32GB through a microSD card.
This feature phone has wireless FM radio support. It also has a removable battery, which provides more than 20 hours of talk time or up to 22 days of standby time on a single charge. The phone weighs just 88.2 grams.
Talking about the camera, the feature has a VGA camera at the rear that comes with LED flash. For connectivity, the phone has options such as Bluetooth v3.0, Micro-USB port and 3.5mm audio jack.
HMD Global, during a virtual briefing on Monday, cited figures from the International Data Corporation (IDC), stating that there are already 130 million users buying 2G handsets in India. The company, citing data from Facebook Insights, also mentioned that there are more than 97 million users in the country who love listening to music on phones.
Nokia 5310 Price In India And Availability:-
The price of this feature phone in India is Rs 3,399 and it is available in black, white and red colour options. It will be available for purchase from June 23 through Amazon and Nokia India online store. The phone will be available for pre-booking at Nokia India online store from Wednesday and will start selling through offline retailers from July 22.
