Today Modi Will Address The Nation Again At 8 PM:-

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the country tonight at 8 pm. This will be his second address in 5 days and the sixth address to the nation in 6 years. During this time, he will share some important things with the citizens about the increasing outbreak of coronavirus which has become an epidemic. The number of coronavirus infections in the country increased to 512, while 9 people have died. Maharashtra had the highest number of 101 confirmed cases. Kerala (95) is at number two. At the same time, the first case of infection came to light in Manipur on Tuesday. Modi will address people in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi through video conferencing from 5 pm on Wednesday.

Earlier, Modi addressed the country on 19 March. He then appealed for the Janata curfew to combat Coronavirus in the country. He had said to follow the Janta curfew on March 22 from 7 am to 9 pm and to avoid going crowded places for a few weeks.

Modi said I will share some important things with the citizens regarding the increasing global outbreak of coronavirus. Today, 24 March I will address the country at 8 pm.

On March 19, Modi appealed that all the citizens should not leave the house for the next few weeks. Come out only when it is very important. The elderly aged 60 to 65 years or more should stay at home. After this appeal, people imposed a Janata curfew on 22 March and encouraged the people fighting Coronavirus by playing thali, conch and other things at 5 in the evening. However, in other states including Bihar, people did not accept Modi’s appeal and came out of their homes. The markets were crowded here and people also appeared to travel in buses. After this, Modi appealed to people for the second time and asked people to stay in the house.

  • First Address: 8 November 2016 (Demonetisation)

Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his address informed the country about demonetization. He had said that the currency notes of 500 and 1000 rupees would be out of circulation. Modi had said that the currency notes of 500 and 1000 rupees will not remain legal tender from midnight.

On March 27, Modi had informed in the name of the nation that DRDO scientists have killed a live satellite in Lower Earth Orbit and India has become the fourth country in the world to do so. Earlier, Russia, America, and China had this power only.

  • Fourth Address: 8 August 2019 (After Removal Of Article 370)

After the abolition of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Modi addressed the country at 8 pm on 8 August 2019. In his address, he promised to build a new Jammu and Kashmir and a new Ladakh. Modi assured the people of Jammu and Kashmir that gradually the situation will return to normal and their troubles will also reduce.
