The Corporate world is also contributing fully to the fight against the Coronavirus. Now the name of Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved has also been included in this list. Patanjali Ayurved has announced a 12.5 percent reduction in the price of its soap. Apart from this, Patanjali has also cut the prices of aloe vera, turmeric, and sandalwood.

Hand Sanitizer Will Be Launched Soon:-

Baba Ramdev, the founder of Patanjali Ayurved, said on Friday that the demand for hand sanitizer in the country has increased due to the coronavirus. Due to this black marketing is increasing. He said that keeping in view the demand, Patanjali Ayurved will produce hand sanitizer. This hand sanitizer will be made available within 15 to 30 days. Baba Ramdev said that Patanjali Ayurved’s hand sanitizer will be more effective and cheaper than other multinational companies (MNC’s). Baba Ramdev said that his company has also cut the prices of palm oil and soy oil by 20 percent.

HUL Reduced Prices By 15 Percent:-

Hindustan Unilever has also announced a 15 percent reduction in the prices of hygiene product sanitizers, liquid handwash, and floor cleaners to fight the coronavirus. On Friday, the company issued a statement saying that it has started manufacturing new priced products and in a few weeks these products will come in the market. Apart from this, HUL has also increased the production of Lifebuoy Sanitizer. The company has also announced a donation of 2 crore lifebuoy soaps in the coming few months.

Government Fixed The Price For Sanitizer And Mask:-

To stop the outbreak of coronavirus, the government has fixed the price of sanitizer and face mask. Union Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Minister Ram Vilas Paswan said in a tweet on Friday that since the outbreak of coronavirus, the market has seen a huge rise in the prices of various face masks, ingredients used in its manufacture and hand sanitizer.

Therefore, the government, taking it seriously, has fixed their prices. Paswan said that under the Essential Commodities Act, the retail price of 2 ply masks would not be more than Rs 8 per mask and the price of 3 ply masks would not exceed Rs 10 per mask. The Union Minister said that the retail price of a 200 mL bottle of hand sanitizer will not exceed Rs 100. Other sizes of bottles will also be priced in the same proportion. These prices will be applicable throughout the country until June 30, 2020.

So Far, 251 Cases Of Coronavirus Have Been Reported Across The Country:-

Coronavirus infection is becoming serious in the country. 50 positives were found in the country on Friday. Out of these, 12 infected people have been found in Kerala. It has also entered in Madhya Pradesh. Four positive patients have been found here in Jabalpur. Three of them had returned from Dubai and one from the German. So far, 251 cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country. At the same time, more than 2 lakh 65 thousand cases have been reported in the whole world and more than 10 thousand people have died.
