Xiaomi’s Mi Box 4K Streaming Device Launched:-
Xiaomi launched the Mi Box 4K streaming device at the online event on Friday. Its price is 3,499 rupees. Through this standalone Android TV 9 Pie powered device any TV can be converted into a smart TV. For connectivity, it is equipped with Wi-Fi. It will be able to access all the apps and services available on Android TV including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus Hotstar.

The Mi Box 4K sale will begin on May 10 at 12 noon. It is priced at 3,499 rupees. It can be purchased from Flipkart, MI.com, Mi Home Stores, and MI Studio Stores. It will also be available at Xiaomi partner offline stores soon. Xiaomi has entered into a partnership with Docubay, Epic On, HoiChoi, and Shemaroo to give some offers to Mi Box 4K buyers. Along with it, the company has also launched the Mi 10 smartphone, Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 at the event.
Mi Box 4K Features And Specifications:-
- In appearance, it looks like a common set-top box and, like a common set-top box, it can be connected to a TV using an HDMI cable. The device runs on a quad-core Amlogic processor and has 2GB RAM + 8GB internal storage.
- However, it does not have the patch wall interface which is available in the Xiaomi television range. Instead, the Mi Box 4K only works on the stock Android TV interface. This is a good option for users who have normal TV and want to upgrade their TV into a smart TV.
- It also provides the privilege of streaming HD content along with the HDR 10 format. The device has all platforms supporting 4K and HDR content, such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, on which 4K content can be streamed comfortably.
